Sa\u00edmos cedo para ir conhecer o Cerro Monteserrate, sobe-se de funicular. A vista \u00e9 bem bonita l\u00e1 de cima, uma pena que estava com bastante nuvem ent\u00e3o n\u00e3o pudemos ver muito longe. Depois visitamos o Museu do Ouro, muito legal.<\/p>\n
Um detalhe foi em rela\u00e7\u00e3o as nossas roupas. Como pegariamos a moto ontem n\u00e3o nos preocupamos e ficamos apenas com a maleta com as coisas necess\u00e1rias para uma noite. E n\u00e3o \u00e9 que esfriou em Bogot\u00e1 e n\u00e3o t\u00ednhamos sequer uma blusa de frio? Passamos um frio danado. Foi at\u00e9 engra\u00e7ado, pensamos at\u00e9 em comprar algo para o frio mas a\u00ed pensamos bem e deixamos o rid\u00edculo de lado e resolvemos sair pela cidade vestindo a jaqueta de moto mesmo. Nosso modelito estava horr\u00edvel mas nessas horas pouco importa o que \u00e9 bonito ou feio. A jaqueta de moto nos salvou e muito. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
Hora de ir buscar a moto no terminal de cargas. Paci\u00eancia \u00e9 o que mais se precisa nesta hora, para fazer o tr\u00e2mite na aduana demorou demais. A aduana fica no terminal de cargas, mas tem muita gente pois imagina s\u00f3 a quantidade de carga que recebem por dia em um aeroporto. O escrit\u00f3rio bem bagun\u00e7ado, a mulher fazendo os nossos pap\u00e9is n\u00e3o se concentrava, e cheio de gente chega pedindo informa\u00e7\u00e3o e tirava ainda mais o foco da mulher. Precisa-se de muita paci\u00eancia mesmo. AF!
\nAt\u00e9 comentamos que por mais um dia poder\u00edamos ter atravessado de barco al\u00e9m dos bel\u00edssimos lugares que iriamos conhecer.<\/p>\n
Com os pap\u00e9is liberados da moto, fomos comer algo pos j\u00e1 passavam da 1 da tarde e seguimos para a Girag. L\u00e1, mais papeis a preencher e um movimento danado de cargas entrando e saindo. Como uma chuva forte come\u00e7ou, pedimos se n\u00e3o podiam nos trazer a moto, assim colocamos as coisas na moto e nossa roupa de moto no seco. E eles concordaram… Viramos atra\u00e7\u00e3o tur\u00edstica do local, com um monte de gente da empresa e motoristas olhando a gente ajeitar tudo. No final deu tudo certo!<\/p>\n
Hora de botar a moto para a rua… Colocaram uma rampa em uma das docas dos caminh\u00f5es e la foi o Rafael mais uma vez parar o lugar quando desceu a moto. E detalhe, debaixo de uma tremenda chuva.<\/p>\n
Fizemos os \u00faltimos acertos no terminal de carga e seguimos em dire\u00e7\u00e3o norte da cidade de Bogot\u00e1, pois quer\u00edamos ir a Zipaquira, onde \u00edamos vistar a catedral de sal. Porem a chuva e tr\u00e2nsito fizeram levaram a gente a gastar mais de uma hora somente para sair da cidade. Bom, pelo menos est\u00e1vamos secos e com o friozinho de 13 graus que fazia estava uma del\u00edcia de andar de moto. Realmente o calor n\u00e3o \u00e9 bom companheiro do motociclista.<\/p>\n
Chegamos em Zipaquira por volta das 5 da tarde e fomos direto conhecer a catedral de sal. Realmente o lugar impressiona, pois ao inv\u00e9s de largar a mina abandonada apos a a extra\u00e7\u00e3o do sal, fizeram uma atra\u00e7\u00e3o tur\u00edstica.<\/p>\n
A mina ainda esta ativa, por\u00e9m estas galerias n\u00e3o mais. Como a antiga catedral, constru\u00edda pelos mineiros acabou se deteriorando, resolveram construir uma maior, contar a via sacra, colocar um show de luzes e umas lojinhas. Ficou muito legal e a catedral e bem grande, com uma ilumina\u00e7\u00e3o muito interessante a base de led.<\/p>\n
Sa\u00edmos j\u00e1 era noite da catedral e foi s\u00f3 o tempo de procurar um hotel na charmosa cidade, comer e cair na cama e aproveitar o friozinho que fazia.<\/p>\n

The view is great, it is a shame that there was lots of clouds so we could not see far. After we visited the gold museum, that was really good.<\/p>\nOne detail in relation to our colothes. As we were supposed to get the motorcycle yesterday, we didn’t bother to get much stuff and only got one bag with essential things. And it turn out that it got really cold in Bogota and we didn’t have any warm clothes. We felt really cold, it was even funny. We thought about buying something, but on a second thought we gave up and decided to face it with out motorcycle jacket. We were not the most best looking people in town, but we didn’t care… The jacket saved us and we were not cold \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\nTime to get the motorcycle at the cargo terminal. Patience is that you most need during this activity. To do the customs it took forever as there are lots of people. Imagine how much load it receives per day. The office is not very organized and the women doing our paperwork was not concentrated and lots of people showed up asking for information, further delaying our paperwork. We do really need patience… Argh!\nWe even commented that of we have one more day we could have taken the boat and visit other places given all these delays…<\/p>\nWith the paperwork done, we went to eat something as it was after 1pm and we headed after to Girag. There, more papers to complete and lots of cargo getting in and our. As it started to rain hard, we asked if they could not bring the motorcycle, so we could start to pack, put our gear and rain gear. And they agreed… It turn out that we became tourist attraction of the place with its employees and drivers observing we do all the packing. In the end, everything worked out well.<\/p>\nTime to put the bike on the road… They added a ramp to one of the truck dock and Rafa stopped the place one more time by going down the ramp under a massive rain.<\/p>\nWe did the last bit of organiIng in the terminal and headed north of the Bogot\u00e1 city in direction of Zipaquira, where we would visit the salt caves. However the rain and traffic made us spend more than 1 hour to leave the city. At least we were dry and with a temperature of 13 degrees it was great. Heat is not a good thing for motorcyclists.<\/p>\nWe arrived in Zipaquira close to 5pm and went straight to visit the cathedral. The place really impresses, as instead of abandoning the mines where they extracted the salt, they turned into a tourist attraction.<\/p>\nThe mine is still active, but the galleries aren’t. As the old cathedral constructed by the miners fell, they decided to construct a new and bigger one, with a via crucis, light show and stores. The view is great, it is a shame that there was lots of clouds so we could not see far. After we visited the gold museum, that was really good.<\/p>\nOne detail in relation to our colothes. As we were supposed to get the motorcycle yesterday, we didn’t bother to get much stuff and only got one bag with essential things. And it turn out that it got really cold in Bogota and we didn’t have any warm clothes. We felt really cold, it was even funny. We thought about buying something, but on a second thought we gave up and decided to face it with out motorcycle jacket. We were not the most best looking people in town, but we didn’t care… The jacket saved us and we were not cold \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\nTime to get the motorcycle at the cargo terminal. Patience is that you most need during this activity. To do the customs it took forever as there are lots of people. Imagine how much load it receives per day. The office is not very organized and the women doing our paperwork was not concentrated and lots of people showed up asking for information, further delaying our paperwork. We do really need patience… Argh!\nWe even commented that of we have one more day we could have taken the boat and visit other places given all these delays…<\/p>\nWith the paperwork done, we went to eat something as it was after 1pm and we headed after to Girag. There, more papers to complete and lots of cargo getting in and our. As it started to rain hard, we asked if they could not bring the motorcycle, so we could start to pack, put our gear and rain gear. And they agreed… It turn out that we became tourist attraction of the place with its employees and drivers observing we do all the packing. In the end, everything worked out well.<\/p>\nTime to put the bike on the road… They added a ramp to one of the truck dock and Rafa stopped the place one more time by going down the ramp under a massive rain.<\/p>\nWe did the last bit of organiIng in the terminal and headed north of the Bogot\u00e1 city in direction of Zipaquira, where we would visit the salt caves. However the rain and traffic made us spend more than 1 hour to leave the city. At least we were dry and with a temperature of 13 degrees it was great. Heat is not a good thing for motorcyclists.<\/p>\nWe arrived in Zipaquira close to 5pm and went straight to visit the cathedral. The place really impresses, as instead of abandoning the mines where they extracted the salt, they turned into a tourist attraction.<\/p>\nThe mine is still active, but the galleries aren’t. As the old cathedral constructed by the miners fell, they decided to construct a new and bigger one, with a via crucis, light show and stores. As we were supposed to get the motorcycle yesterday, we didn’t bother to get much stuff and only got one bag with essential things. And it turn out that it got really cold in Bogota and we didn’t have any warm clothes. We felt really cold, it was even funny. We thought about buying something, but on a second thought we gave up and decided to face it with out motorcycle jacket. We were not the most best looking people in town, but we didn’t care… The jacket saved us and we were not cold \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\nTime to get the motorcycle at the cargo terminal. Patience is that you most need during this activity. To do the customs it took forever as there are lots of people. Imagine how much load it receives per day. The office is not very organized and the women doing our paperwork was not concentrated and lots of people showed up asking for information, further delaying our paperwork. We do really need patience… Argh!\nWe even commented that of we have one more day we could have taken the boat and visit other places given all these delays…<\/p>\nWith the paperwork done, we went to eat something as it was after 1pm and we headed after to Girag. There, more papers to complete and lots of cargo getting in and our. As it started to rain hard, we asked if they could not bring the motorcycle, so we could start to pack, put our gear and rain gear. And they agreed… It turn out that we became tourist attraction of the place with its employees and drivers observing we do all the packing. And they agreed… It turn out that we became tourist attraction of the place with its employees and drivers observing we do all the packing. As we were supposed to get the motorcycle yesterday, we didn’t bother to get much stuff and only got one bag with essential things. And it turn out that it got really cold in Bogota and we didn’t have any warm clothes. We felt really cold, it was even funny. We thought about buying something, but on a second thought we gave up and decided to face it with out motorcycle jacket. We were not the most best looking people in town, but we didn’t care… The jacket saved us and we were not cold \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\nTime to get the motorcycle at the cargo terminal. Patience is that you most need during this activity. To do the customs it took forever as there are lots of people. Imagine how much load it receives per day. The office is not very organized and the women doing our paperwork was not concentrated and lots of people showed up asking for information, further delaying our paperwork. We do really need patience… Argh!\nWe even commented that of we have one more day we could have taken the boat and visit other places given all these delays…<\/p>\nWith the paperwork done, we went to eat something as it was after 1pm and we headed after to Girag. There, more papers to complete and lots of cargo getting in and our. As it started to rain hard, we asked if they could not bring the motorcycle, so we could start to pack, put our gear and rain gear. And they agreed… It turn out that we became tourist attraction of the place with its employees and drivers observing we do all the packing. In the end, everything worked out well.<\/p>\nTime to put the bike on the road… They added a ramp to one of the truck dock and Rafa stopped the place one more time by going down the ramp under a massive rain.<\/p>\nWe did the last bit of organiIng in the terminal and headed north of the Bogot\u00e1 city in direction of Zipaquira, where we would visit the salt caves. However the rain and traffic made us spend more than 1 hour to leave the city. At least we were dry and with a temperature of 13 degrees it was great. Heat is not a good thing for motorcyclists.<\/p>\nWe arrived in Zipaquira close to 5pm and went straight to visit the cathedral. The place really impresses, as instead of abandoning the mines where they extracted the salt, they turned into a tourist attraction.<\/p>\nThe mine is still active, but the galleries aren’t. As the old cathedral constructed by the miners fell, they decided to construct a new and bigger one, with a via crucis, light show and stores. We thought about buying something, but on a second thought we gave up and decided to face it with out motorcycle jacket. We were not the most best looking people in town, but we didn’t care… The jacket saved us and we were not cold \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\nTime to get the motorcycle at the cargo terminal. The office is not very organized and the women doing our paperwork was not concentrated and lots of people showed up asking for information, further delaying our paperwork. We do really need patience… Argh!\nWe even commented that of we have one more day we could have taken the boat and visit other places given all these delays…<\/p>\nWith the paperwork done, we went to eat something as it was after 1pm and we headed after to Girag. There, more papers to complete and lots of cargo getting in and our. As it started to rain hard, we asked if they could not bring the motorcycle, so we could start to pack, put our gear and rain gear. And they agreed… It turn out that we became tourist attraction of the place with its employees and drivers observing we do all the packing. The view is great, it is a shame that there was lots of clouds so we could not see far. After we visited the gold museum, that was really good.<\/p>\nOne detail in relation to our colothes. As we were supposed to get the motorcycle yesterday, we didn’t bother to get much stuff and only got one bag with essential things. And it turn out that it got really cold in Bogota and we didn’t have any warm clothes. We felt really cold, it was even funny. We thought about buying something, but on a second thought we gave up and decided to face it with out motorcycle jacket. We were not the most best looking people in town, but we didn’t care… The jacket saved us and we were not cold \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\nTime to get the motorcycle at the cargo terminal. Patience is that you most need during this activity. To do the customs it took forever as there are lots of people. Imagine how much load it receives per day. The office is not very organized and the women doing our paperwork was not concentrated and lots of people showed up asking for information, further delaying our paperwork. We do really need patience… Argh!\nWe even commented that of we have one more day we could have taken the boat and visit other places given all these delays…<\/p>\nWith the paperwork done, we went to eat something as it was after 1pm and we headed after to Girag. There, more papers to complete and lots of cargo getting in and our. As it started to rain hard, we asked if they could not bring the motorcycle, so we could start to pack, put our gear and rain gear. And they agreed… It turn out that we became tourist attraction of the place with its employees and drivers observing we do all the packing. In the end, everything worked out well.<\/p>\nTime to put the bike on the road… They added a ramp to one of the truck dock and Rafa stopped the place one more time by going down the ramp under a massive rain.<\/p>\nWe did the last bit of organiIng in the terminal and headed north of the Bogot\u00e1 city in direction of Zipaquira, where we would visit the salt caves. However the rain and traffic made us spend more than 1 hour to leave the city. At least we were dry and with a temperature of 13 degrees it was great. Heat is not a good thing for motorcyclists.<\/p>\nWe arrived in Zipaquira close to 5pm and went straight to visit the cathedral. The place really impresses, as instead of abandoning the mines where they extracted the salt, they turned into a tourist attraction.<\/p>\nThe mine is still active, but the galleries aren’t. As the old cathedral constructed by the miners fell, they decided to construct a new and bigger one, with a via crucis, light show and stores.
